The Elections & Boundaries Department notifies the General Public that the Elections & Boundaries Department, Belize Rural Divisions Office situated on #120 New Road and Caribbean Shores, Freetown, Pickstock and Fort George Electoral Divisions Office situated on #92 North Front Street have both been relocated to #2 Daly Street (lower flat) Belize City effective June 28^th, 2010.

Public Service Announcement

The General Public is hereby reminded that in accordance with the Village Councils Act, Chapter 88 of the Laws of Belize, qualifications for members of a Council are:

(a) is a citizen of Belize; and

(b) has ordinarily resided in the village for at least one year immediately preceding the election; and

A person shall be disqualified from being a member:

(a) if found to be of unsound mind under any law in force in Belize; and

(b) has voted in another village or community election held for that period.
